Ahead of the April11 governorship polls the All Progressives Congress ( APC ),  has began receiving a massive influx of political heavyweights from the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP ). The wave of decamping began since the massive victory of the APC over the PDP in the just concluded polls.

Already many aides and starch supporters of the state governor,  Gabriel Suswam,  have been welcomed into the APC.  The decamping which started with the exodus of Suswam’s former Chief Security Adviser,  Col. Basil Kwembeh,  has since dragged in other big fish like Major General Lawrence Onoja,  David Mark’s long time adversary.

Only today Former Attorney General of the Federation, Chief Michael Kaase Aondoakaa, SAN also resigned his membership of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Aondoakaa who also contested the primaries of the PDP for governorship but lost, made this known in a letter to his ward chairman of the PDP, where he directed that his name be deleted from the Party register in Lessel Township Ward.

Chief Aondoakaa, SAN said he came to this important decision after due consultation with his family, friends and political associates. That in the mean time he will focus and concentrate on his legal practice to enable him reorganise his law firm.

However on the forth coming Governorship and House of Assembly elections of 11th April, he called on all his political followers and good people of Benue state to turn out in enmass and vote according to the dictates of their conscience, and defend their votes to ensure that their votes count.
He enjoined Benue people to eschew violence and always be guarded by the undying words of President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan GCFR that the ambition of no single individual is worth the blood of any Nigerian.
