The Nigerian Senate President, Sen. David MaRk yesterday described Nigerians as complainants. According to Mark Nigerians are hard to satisfy even with the best form of service offered.
This observation was made by Sen. Mark during the commissioning of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) office in Makurdi while chiding those who had called for a remark of the exams by the board to offer an appology for trying to dent the organisation’s image.
Decrying the low standard of education in the country which he attributed to let my people go syndrome, He called for honesty in all levels of education to ensure better standards.
“Nigeria education system before now was rated very high but if you go to the internet you cannot find any Nigerian University among the best 200 universities in the world. It is time we stop ‘the let my people go system’ that has found its way in the university, so that people who are not qualify do not find their way into the system. Nigeria should not only be referred to as the giant of Africa, if we really want to be giant we should be also be giant of education in the world, “. He noted.
Meanwhile the Senate President also sued for partnership from members of the public in assisting to fund universities in the nation rather than spend their money on less productive endeavours as according to him government alone cannot afford to fund universities in Nigeria.

Speaking at the occasion, Governor Gabriel Suswam of Benue State, represented by his deputy, Chief Steve Lawani, commended the establishment of the JAMB zonal office in the state, saying that the problem of youths of the area gaining admissions into higher institutions would be partially minimized.

He implored the management to make judicious use of the facilities at their disposal to facilitate speedy processing of admission of applicants into the universities.
In her remark, Minister of Education, Prof. Ruqayya Ahmed Rufai, pledged to uphold the value of education and also improve the standard of education and urged Nigerians including stakeholders to complement efforts towards the realization of this laudable objective

The Nigerians have good cause for complaint, as I understand it Nigeria is being exploited by overseas company’s having exploited Nigerian oil and resources, and fishing grounds contaminated in exploitation, always their is gross corruption in particular endorsed and powered by Western enemy forces of imposition, who control the political scene such as Nigeria, this creates moral and depraved circumstance such as we see here.

  9. I want to express my fears in regard to what has been happening in Ohimini Local Govt. Area of Benue state for quite some time now. Ohimini has virtually became a “beer parlour” for sen. David Mark, Ezekiel Adaji and indeed their supporters. I want to state here categorically that there has been no change of power, democratically, in the area over the years. Its obviously because, the former senate president and Hon. Ezekiel Adaji has turned the area into their playing grounds; they play with the decisions of the entire people of the Local Govt. And impose local Govt. Boss on them. They actually do not respect the decisions of the humble citizens. The people who have decided to liberate their people from the abyss into a limelight are always not given the opportunity to do things-things that when done, will definitely put smiles on their face. Just few days to the Gubernatoria election, Chief Agbo Oga alongside other prominent sons of Ohimini decamped to the APC. There has been speculation that he decamped just so to be given an appointment in the new administration. On the contrary, he left the PDP for the APC to rejection melted out to them by the Senate president. Any good view presented by the former house of representative member, Hon. Agbo Oga was always seen fron the negative light. After the election was all done, Hon. Peter ogwuche, a former councillor representing Idekpa ward of Ohimini Local Government council and a special Assistant to the immediate past Gov. Of Benue state, on community relation. A PDP member too, who was believed to be one of the boys to Agbo was considered “dangerous informant” and right from the time of the conclusion of the 2015 general election, he was left out in all the meetings based on their belief. Hon. Peter Ogwuche and Hon. Agbo Oga are good people, therefor, i belive they will not give up on the fight to ensure that Ohimini is totally liberated from the cold treatment of those wicked guys.
