Former Police Commissioner and social critic, Alh. Abubakar Tsav, has taken a swipe at the President Goodluck Jonathan for his acclaimed fight against the Boko Haram insurgents, claiming the president is not honest with the process. According to him the circumstances surrounding the kidnap of freed, elder statesman, Alh. Shettima Mungono, poses more questions than answers, creating more doubt as to who the real kidnappers were.

Tsav who reacted in an exclusive text message, questioned the possibility of Boko Haram insurgents kidnapping the elderstatesman in an environment saturated by security operatives. He also decried the spate of violence occasioned by the frequent clashes between the insurgents and the operatives.
“… Maiduguri and Yobe are turned to war zones and about 350 streets in Maiduguri blocked by JTF road blocks. This apart, mosques and churches are normally provided with armed security during friday prayers and sunday church services respectively. How was it possible for Boko Haram to kidnap Alh. Monguno after jummat prayers and in broad day light without reaction from JTF? Or were they withdrwn from the mosque?” He querried.
The fire spitting critic has also taken on Niger-Delta millitant for his recent outbursts in a popular national daily where he threatened the peace of Nigeria if Jonathan looses by 2015.
He recomended that security should be a responsibilty of everybody thus recomended that Asari-Dokubo be put behind bars, stating that the renowned militant is inconsistent. He thus assumed that Asari must have recieved some financial inducements for his latest outbursts.
” Only a few weeks ago he told reporters in Port harcourt Rivers State that Jonathan was incompetent and would not be reelected. Today he is singing a different tone. Has millions changed hands?” Tsav exploded.
Chatising Asari, he added that the Niger-Delta leader had no political power to decide who was to be governor in 2015 as he had only one vote, informing that Nigeria is greater than him or any other person or group.
“Alh. Mujahideen Asari-Dokubo should get into his head that in a democracy, it is the votes that count and not threats, besides he has no monopoly of violence. He should therefore shut up his mouth sharp sharp! Nigeria is not a lawless country.” He advised.
